The Iberoamerican Academy of Management was founded in 1997 and is an affiliate of the Academy of Management. There are two primary objectives of the Iberoamerican Academy. First, to foster the general advancement of knowledge in the theory and practice of management among Iberoamerican scholars and/or those academics interested in Iberoamerican issues. Iberoamerica is defined broadly to include all of Latin America, Latino populations in North America, and Spain/Portugal. Second, to perform and support educational activities that contribute to intellectual and operational leadership in the field of management within an Iberoamerican context. The Iberoamerican Academy of Management has eight duly constituted committees, an advisory board and an executive committee consisting of a president, a secretary, a treasurer, and a minimum of six vice-presidents
OUR MISSION:
To foster the general advancement of knowledge in the theory and practice of management among iberoamerican scholars and/or those academics interested in iberoamerican issues. To perform and support educational activities that contribute to intellectual and operational leadership in the field of management within an Iberoamerican context.
The 2015 IAM Conference aims to facilitate dialog amongst academics and practitioners regarding the potential future of entrepreneurship and innovation in the region.
We encourage academics to send proposals for symposium sessions, paper sessions or PDWs in the following tracks:
